The Orchard Studio is tucked in a corner of our gardens at Ham Green Cottage, Ham Green is a peaceful hamlet on the edge of the beautiful, rural village of Sparsholt.

We are only 3 miles west of the cathedral city of Winchester and the right side of the city for the train station. We have main lines to London Waterloo, Manchester, Birmingham and Weymouth. London is only approximately an hour away on the train.

There are fabulous walks and bike rides from our doorstep through some of the most wonderful countryside in Hampshire. We are close to a network of footpaths that lead onto the Clarendon Way, a 24 mile footpath joining Salisbury and Winchester.

Cricket lovers can visit Sparsholt's immaculate cricket pitch. Games are played most weekends during the Summer. The Aegeas Bowl, Hampshire's County ground is only 20 minutes away.

The cathedral city of Winchester is filled with historic places to visit - from the 1,000 year old cathedral with the longest nave in Europe, to the Great Hall and Round Table, to the numerous museums, fabulous shopping, great places to eat and peaceful green areas.

During the Christmas period here is an outside ice rink and a fantastic outdoor market.

The market town of Stockbridge is only a few miles to the west. This is set on the River Test, which has some of the world's finest fly fishing.
